Hindustan Cleanenergy Ltd, part of the company, has entered into power purchase agreement (PPA) for two solar projects -- each having 15 MW capacity -- with Punjab government.
Another PPA has been executed with Uttar Pradesh government for a 20 MW solar plant.
"The projects were won by the company through a competitive bid and are expected to go on stream during the current year itself," the company said in a statement today.
Hindustan Powerprojects chairman Ratul Puri said it would invest about Rs 400 crore towards commissioning of the projects.
