Home guard T Ramesh (33), attached to the Challapalli Police Station, allegedly committed suicide along with his son Tharun Karthik (7) and daughter Sharanya (4) by jumping into river Krishna at Sagara Sangamum in the village during the wee hours, Avanigadda DSP Khadhir Basha, told to PTI.
Family disputes were suspected to be the reason for taking the extreme step.
Body of the girl was fished out while search was on by local fishermen, swimmers and Marine police to trace the other two bodies, the officer said.
