At least eight devotees on Narmada Sewa Yatra were stung by honeybees at Marighat in Ajnai village near here today, an official said.
"Eight to ten people taking part in Narmada Sewa Yatra were stung by honeybees at Marighat," said Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) SL Solanki.
He said the medical staff in an ambulance following the yatra treated five persons.
Solanki said the bees swarmed out of their hive on a tree after a bat hit it.
The Yatra with a motto to make Narmada pollution-free is underway along the river.
