Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh, who also holds the finance portfolio, will present the budget for 2013-14 on March 14 and it will be passed on March 29.
Singh would be presenting the state's budget for a record 16th time.
The session ending April 9 will have 18 sittings, including two private members days.
The four-week long session is likely to be stormy as several issues including alleged phone tapping during previous BJP government and revoking land given by BJP government to Baba Ramdev and land given to HPCA are likely to come up.
The BJP is also expected to raise the issue of large number of transfers of employees allegedly to victimise sympathisers of BJP.
The election of Deputy Speaker is likely to be held during the session and Jagat Singh is likely to be the nominee of the ruling party.
There would be four days break from March 22 to March 25 and supplementary budget for 2012-13 would also be passed on March 13.
