Himachal Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh today said his government would bring a "white paper" on the misdeeds of the previous BJP government amidst allegations of corruption against him.
Addressing a meeting at Panjawar in Haroli of Una district, Singh said his government would not succumb to pressure and would ensure that rule of law prevailed in the state.
Lashing out at BJP for personally targeting him, the Chief Minister said that BJP leaders were making "unsubstantiated" charges to derail the investigations into various scams during their regime, and stated that the government would bring a white paper to expose the misdeeds of the BJP government.
"All the scams including illegal land deals would be thoroughly examined and investigated and the guilty would be brought to the book," he said.
Singh said Una district was being given priority in the matter of the development and the work on various projects including Rs 922 core Swan River channelization had been started in the district.
Meanwhile, coming to the defence of the Chief Minister, Industries Minister, Mukesh Agnihotri said the power company in question, was given only one extension on a fee by the Congress government, while the BJP had given it four extensions between 2009 and 2012.
