Chief Editor of Punjab Kesri group of newspapers Padma Sri Vijay Chopra presided over the function here yesterday. Bureau chief of PTI in Jammu Anil Bhat was awarded Amar Shaheed Lala Jagat Narayan memorial award for excellence in journalism. The award has been instituted in the name of founder of Punjab Kesri group of newspapers, Lala Jagat Narayan who was assassinated by militants in Punjab 1981. Speaking on the occasion, Vijay Chopra congratulated all the awardees and Himotkarsh Sahayat Sanskriti avum Jan Kalyan Parishad (HSSAJK) for organizing the function to encourage the students across Himachal Pradesh.
