HP mulling science, commerce streams in govt schools

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh today said that the government was mulling to introduce science and commerce streams in all government senior schools.
The chief minister also announced that the state government will upgrade the Bhujund Middle School to a high school.
Singh was speaking after laying the foundation stone of a Rs 74 lakh Mela Ground at Tindi in Lahaul and Spiti district.
The chief minister also paid obeisance at the old Mrikula Devi Temple at Tindi and announced Rs 20,000 from his discretionary fund for promotion of cultural programmes at a school.
