Huge quantity of banned drugs seized by police

A huge quantity of banned drugs worth Rs 5.8 lakh in the black market was seized in the wee hours today, police said.
A seizure was made after a combined team of Kohima police and 14 NAP (IR) while checking a Manipur-bound vehicle found two bags containing 58,000 capsules of banned Spasmo-Proxyvon drug concealed inside the seat of the vehicle on National Highway-29.
Police also nabbed two passengers of the vehicle for possession and illegally transporting the banned drugs.
