The incident occurred yesterday in Tara Nagar area in Churu where the home of a labourer Vinod caught fire .
"Vinod's wife was cooking when the house caught fire. She managed to come out but the girls were trapped inside," a police officer said.
Vinod's daughter Monu (3) and his neighbour's daughter Pooja (9) died while another girl Mamta (5) received critical burn injuries in the incident.
