A hunt was launched for BSP MLA from Dholpur, Kushwah in the case lodged in Gwalior after the Madhya Pradesh police informed their Rajasthan counterparts of the case.
The joint team has been searching every vehicle entering the legislative assembly here since its session began yesterday.
"Gwalior team informed us recently that Kushwah is wanted in a case related with chit-fund fraud lodged in May 2011. Their team came here two days back and we are assisting them in the search for the MLA," Dholpur SP Harendra Kumar told PTI over phone.
Thirty three-year old Kushwah won Dholpur constituency by a margin of 9,209 votes in the recently held assembly elections.
