Hutments gutted in fire

Several hutments were gutted in a
major fire that broke out today in an area near Wadala RTO, where some construction work was underway, fire officials said.
No casualty or injuries were reported so far, they said.
The blaze occurred at around 10 AM gutting several shanties of the labourers engaged in construction work near suburban Wadala, they said.
About eight fire tenders, six water tankers and ambulances were rushed to the spot, an official said.
Rescue operation was underway and the officials were trying to ascertain the cause of blaze, he added.
