Creative Multimedia Pvt Ltd's Managing Director Rajasekhar Buggaveeti was arrested and produced before the Special Judge of the Economic Offences Court at Nampally Court complex, Commissioner (Customs, Central Excise and Service Tax, Hyderabad-II Zone) M K Singh said in a release.
"Rajasekhar has committed the cognisable offence of collecting service tax and not depositing the same with the government which is a cognisable offence in terms of Sec 89(1) (d) of Finance Act, 1994," the release said.
