NCRI Chairman W G Prasanna Kumar and UoH Registrar P Sardar Singh signed the MoU in the presence of varsity Vice-Chancellor Appa Rao Podile, a UoH release said.
The objectives of the MoU include promotion of study of various dimensions of rural India - social, economic, political, and cultural - at the post-graduate level.
It also aims to encourage students and faculty to undertake/incorporate study of rural India as part of their curriculum as well as through projects and internships, and to support doctoral research and other allied academic activities through conferences focusing on issues related to rural India, the release said.
