The Information and Broadcasting Ministry has advised all news channels not to carry the story related to an interview of one of the convicts in the December 16, 2012 Delhi gangrape case.
Official sources said here that an advisory has been sent to all news channels in this regard.
A British filmmaker's interview of one of the December 16 gangrape convicts for a documentary, in which he reportedly showed no remorse, kicked up a storm today with government taking a serious view of the matter and seeking an explanation from Tihar jail authorities.
The parents of the December 16, 2012 gangrape victim also reacted angrily to the remarks made by the convict.
