I wasn't mainstream enough: Thandie Newton on being shut out from #Time's Up

"Westworld" star Thandie Newton, who has been vocal against the culture of sexual exploitation in Hollywood, says she was upset to be excluded from the #Time'sUp movement.

Newton, who plays Maeve on the sci-fi thriller, was sexually abused by an unnamed casting director during an audition when she was a teenager and had spoken about it before sexual harassment scandal exploded in Hollywood
"I wasn't mainstream enough and I wasn't going to be at the Oscars this year, even though I am having a renaissance in my career."
