Illegal arms manufacturing unit unearthed, two arrested: Cops

The Kairana police today claimed to have unearthed an illegal arms manufacturing factory and seized 14 pistols and a large number of cartridges during raids at Dabhedi village in Shamli district.
Circle Officer Rajesh Kumar Tiwari told PTI that two persons, Nadeem and Shamsher, were arrested while two others escaped.
The accused were supplying illegal arms in nearby areas and a case has been registered in this regard, he added.
