The police intercepted the consignment-loaded truck at Phante village in the district and arrested its driver identified as Virdharam, who hails from Barmer, they said.
According to police, the truck was carrying 710 cartons of liquor.
The driver is being interrogated to trace further links of the gang involved in liquor smuggling, they added.
