National Defence Academy (NDA), Khadakvasla, and Indian Naval Academy (INA) Ezhimala near here, finished seond and third.
Cadet N Dinesh Anand of INA team secured the first position, clocking 46 minutes and 02 seconds, a release from INA said.
A total of six cadets each from the three participating academies took part in the event, in which the trainees ran a course of approximately 12 km across varied terrain of Ezhimala.
This is the first time INA was hosting this prestigious tournament at Ezhimala.
