IMFA division bags award

Metals and Ferro Alloys Ltd (IMFA) has bagged the prestigious Pollution Control Appreciation Award - 2012 in recognition of the steps taken for checking pollution.

The award was presented to IMFA's Choudwar division for adoption of pollution control and sound environmental management practices at the 29th foundation day ceremony of Odisha's state pollution control board, company sources said here today.

Comany's executive vice-president B D Sahu received the award from Odisha's forest and environment minister Bijoyshree Routray at the function held here on September 14, they said.
