The consignment, hidden in boxes below packets of tattoo stickers, was supposed to be sent to Malaysia, police said.
"We had inputs that a huge consignment of amphetamine would be sent through S B International courier in Andheri on September 25 to Malaysia," an ANC official said.
Accordingly, officials raided the place and recovered 84 kg of the drug that was hidden below layers of tattoo stickers. The drug is worth Rs 8.40 crore in the international market, police said.
They are now looking for the consignor of the parcel.
Asked whether the courier agency knew about the contents of the parcel beforehand, a senior official said, "Our primary probe suggested that the company did not know the content. Although, we have kept the investigations open and more will come out once we arrest the sender."
