Imphal blast kills 2 labourers

A man, who was injured in the bomb blast in Imphal town, succumbed to his injuries at a hospital here today, taking the death toll in the militant attack to two.
Unidentified militants had exploded a bomb at about 11 AM at Thangal Bazar on Mahatma Gandhi Avenue in the heart of Imphal town today, the police said.
One person had died on the spot, while five others injured were admitted to the hospital, the police said.
One of the injured persons succumbed to his injuries later in the hospital where the condition of the remaining four was stated to be critical.
All the victims in the explosion were labourers.
