"TSEC program is not designed to offer any capital but under a different program 'Invent' we are able to offer seed capital of upto Rs 25 lakh and two years of incubation," IIM advisor Centre for entrepreneurship and innovation, C Mitra said today.
TSEC is a joint initiative by the TATA group and the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM Calcutta), a National Level challenge to find India's most promising social enterprises.
It Also aimed at raising awareness about Social Entrepreneurship.
Meanwhile, TSEC final for this round till take place on January 14 with 20 shortlisted projects out of over 300 applicipants focused on social innovations.
