"I condemn words you have used for the Honourable Member. You should watch your words," Speaker Mubarak Gul told Sheikh Abdul Rashid, MLA from Langate.
Rashid, while talking on land grabbing allegations against some PDP leaders, said the government should take steps to clear vast stretches of state land which has been occupied by migrant labourers from other states.
"Tomorrow, we might be facing a situation where some people may seek to rehabilitate these labourers in the state as permanent citizens," Rashid said.
Luthra protested the words used by Rashid and sought an apology. "He cannot call me deaf!" she said.
Later, during the House proceedings, Rashid tried to rush to the well of the House as he was not satisfied with the Government reply about the issue he had raised.
The Speaker directed the Assembly marshalls to stop the MLA and take him out of the House.
