Indian navy enthralls music lovers at Onam celebrations
Press Trust of India Kochi An exhilarting mix of popular Indian numbers, including Malayalam, Tamil and Hindi, as well as Western classical and rock, enthralled music lovers at the Onam celebrations here today, conducted by the Indian Navy.
A 40 men Southern Naval Command band performed for the residents of Kochi at the Durbar Hall ground.
The performance, led by Lieutenant Commander Manoj Sebastian, Musician Officer of Southern Naval command, was held with the cooperation of the District administration. It commenced at 6 PM and went on till 8 PM.
More than 1,000 people enjoyed the performance.
The audience also included the District Collectors of Ernakulam andAlappuzha.
