Industrial oils drop on poor demand

Castorseed bold and castor oil commercial dropped further at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today on poor demand from soap and shippers industries.
Elsewhere, refined palmolein prices eased owing to lower demand from retailers.
Meanwhile, groundnut oil and linseed oil ruled steady in absence of any large-scale buying.
Among the non-edibles, castorseeds bold weakened by Rs 10 per 100 kg to Rs 3,705 from Tuesday's close Rs 3,715 and castor oil commercial edged down by Rs 2 per 10 kg to Rs 771 as against Rs 773 yesterday.
Linseed oil remained unaltered at Rs 1,050 per 10 kg.

In the edible section, groundnut oil closed unchanged at Rs 1,100 per 10 kg and refined palmolein declined by Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 585 as compared Rs 590 yesterday.
