Industrial oils recover in lackluster trade

While, groundnutoil, refined palmolein and linseedoil held steady in the absence of any worthwhile buying.

In futures, castorseeds fell further witnessing selling pressure amidst lack of export enquiries.

In the non-edible segment, Castorseeds bold gained by Rs 35 per 100 kg to Rs 3,950 from Friday's closing level of Rs 3,915 and castoroil commercial moved up by Rs 7 per 10 kg to Rs 820 from Rs 813. Linseed oil remained unchanged at Rs 840 per 10 kg.

Turning to futures, castorseed September contract resumed lower at Rs 4,090 and declined further to finish at Rs 4,040 as compared to Rs 4,160 previously, showing a fall of Rs 120 per tonne.

However, moving to edibleoil section, groundnutoil and refined palmolein closed unaltered at Rs 1,250 and Rs 610 per 10 kg respectively.
