Apart from taking up infrastructure development projects, Infopark has decided to focus on attracting major IT companies to the park at Koratty.
The IT park has all that it takes to make it a major IT destination in Kerala-- its proximity to Kochi international airport and the National Highway connectivity are the key attractions.
"We will leverage these facilities to brand position the park and attract major anchor clients", Infopark CEO Hrishikesh Nair said.
Unlike the IT hotspots in tier-I and tier-II cities in India, the Thrissur Infopark, spread over 30 acres of land in Koratty, offers its employees a congestion-free travel to their workplace.
Currently, the park houses 29 companies with around 600 employees. The facility - set up under the efficient Hub and Spoke model - boasts of a higher employee retention rate as compared to similar parks in other metropolitan cities.
