The Qiraat-e-Quran was organised by Anjuman Zeenatul Quran, Bhopal, run by local MLA Syed Arif Aqueel.
Qaris from Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Qatar, Bangladesh and India took part in the programme.
Egyptian Abdul Wahab was adjudged as best Qari while Iranian Mohammad Ameen Asadi, Sheikh Hussain from Iraq and Aftab Ahmad from Deoband, India, were adjudged second, third and fourth respectively.
