Investigation started against ITBP jawan

Sikkim Home Minister Tanga Byaling today said that probe into a case relating to an explicit video clip which rocked Daporijo in upper Subansiri district recently has been initiated.
The explicit video involving an ITBP personnel and a local girl has been in circulation through mobile phones.
"Investigation has been launched and the accused will be brought to book," Byaling said.
Upper Subansiri district Additional SP Amulya Baruah said that a case under Immoral Trafficking Act and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act has been registered at Nacho police station.
"The accused has been identified as Ashok Shippy, now posted to 9 BN of ITBP, is presently on election duty in Jammu and Kashmir," he said, adding the ITBP commandant had been informed to produce the accused.

ITBP sources could not be contacted for comments.
"The civil society will be cautioned to refrain from such unethical acts which are punishable," Byaling said.
