The Chief Secretary received briefs from the administrative secretaries about the steps being taken by their departments in the execution and completion of the projects approved under PMDP, an official spokesman said.
He said the Rs 80,068 crore development package announced by the Prime Minister during his visit to the state on November 7 last year includes Rs 7,854 crore for flood relief, reconstruction and flood management, Rs 42,611 crore for road and highway projects, Rs 11,708 crore for power, new and renewable energy projects and Rs 4,900 crore for various health sector projects.
The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) is periodically reviewing the implementation of PMDP with the state government officials.
A high-level meeting in this regard is scheduled for August 13 in New Delhi, he added.
