J-K Cong hails re-appointment of Soz as state chief

The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) today welcomed the decision to re-appoint MP Saifuddin Soz as state Congress chief.
"We hail the decision of the Congress high command Sonia Gandhi and Vice president Rahul Gandhi for re-appointment of Soz as state Congress chief," state Tourism Minister G A Mir said.
His re-appointment will further boost up the rank and file of the party for forthcoming Assembly and Lok Sabha polls, Mir said.
75-year-old Soz, a Rajya Sabha member was today re-appointed as the president of JKPCC.
In February 2008, he was appointed as JKPCC chief for the first time.
