He said the department has recorded a revenue growth of 15.38 per cent during the current fiscal year as against 1.85 per cent last year.
He said the department is making all out efforts to check tax evasion in Punjab-Kathua border.
The department has cracked down on the menace of illicit distillation of liquor and bootlegging, he said.
