It was in April when SAI National Cycling Academy (SAINCA) was started in collaboration with Sports Authority of India (SAI) and Cycling Federation of India (CFI).
Most of the riders of 14-16 age groups are in SAINCA and now the facility has been accredited by UCI as its "Satellite Centre".
With the launch of the Centre, riders from various countries of Asia can avail the world class facilities for training. The training will take place under the guidance of coaches appointed by UC.
CFI Secretary General Onkar Singh said: "The Satellite Centre will help to increase the level of competition amongst our athletes and they will get the maximum exposure by training with foreign riders under the guidance of world class coaches.
