"Rohto has invested Rs 32.2 crore in SastaSundar and picked up 13 per cent equity in the Indian company", B L Mittal, executive chairman of SastaSundar Healthbuddy told reporters here today.
He said that the Japanese company would use the digital network of SastaSundar to introduce its products in the Indian market.
Rohto's executive VP L R Juneja said that India was a key market for the Japanese firm.
The Japanese company was looking for a base in India and it would also assist SastaSundar in scaling up its operations in West Bengal and across the country.
