A meeting of Khap Panchayats and Jat Organisations from all over Haryana would be organised soon to intensify their fight for the OBC reservation after the upcoming Panchayat polls in the state.
A decision in this regard was taken at district level meeting of the community leaders at Kapas Mandi here today.
The youth leaders of the community called all Jat bodies to unite in their fight for reservation as it is a matter of "securing the future of the youths of the community."
At the meeting, the Jat leaders also demanded that BJP Parliamentarian Raj Kumar Saini should be suspended from the House for his alleged "inflammatory casteist speeches".
Saini has no right to speak against the Jats in "indecent language". We are not for ending reservation demands by other communities rather we are fighting to secure our rights, a Jat leader said here today.
Once the Panchayat elections in the state are over an intense agitation would be launched demanding reservations for the Jats in which the youth would play a major role, he said.
Another leader warned that if Jat ministers of the Modi Government doesn't raise their voice for reservation then members of the community would sit on a dharna in front of their residences.
