Daljeet Singh, hailing from Kanchan city in Ludhiana, Punjab, was found dead under suspicious circumstances in a room at Sant Hotel in the city, police said.
Singh was posted in Akhnoor belt of Jammu as a Junior Engineer in Military Engineer Services department, they said, adding that the body was recovered and sent to Government Medical College (GMC) hospital for postmortem.
In another incident, 32-year-old Mohammad Hanif was found dead at his residence in Sarla in Reasi district.
Police has started investigations into both the cases, they said.
