Jeev Milkha played aggressively with four birdies in the first seven holes to finish 22nd on the final day of the Lyoness Open today.
Jeev seemed in sight of a top 10 finish when he had a mid-round lapse with three birdies.
However, the four-time European tour winner added one more birdie to retrieve some ground but it was only good enough for a tied 22nd place.
It was a week when Jeev looked far better than he has been in recent times and he must be ruing his triple bogey on second day and double on the third day or else a top 10 finish was his for taking.
Meanwhile, Chris Wood staged a great rally to grab his second European tour title.
Starting the day five shots behind overnight leader Gregory Bourdy, Englishman Chris Wood turned in a flawless five-under 67 to register a come-from-behind win. Wood with three birdies in first six holes brought himself into contention as he moved to 13-under while Bourdy dropped a double bogey on the second.
Later, Bourdy dropped four shots on back nine while Wood, playing much ahead, closed with two more birdies on back nine to set the clubhouse target of 15-under.
Rafa Cabrera Bello, two behind Bourdy overnight, played a par round and stayed at 13-under and was second.
Robert Rock (66), Robert Dinwiddie (68) and Mathew Fitzpatrick (71) were tied for third while Bourdy was tied sixth after a round of 68.
Cabrera Bello, two behind on 18th, needed to ace the final hole but managed only a par and ended two behind the winner.
