Man killed by brother, friends in Faridabad

A 35-year-old man was stabbed to death allegedly by his brother and two friends over family issues here, police said today.
The incident took place on Friday night at Piyala village in the district when the victim Pratap was taking alcohol with his brother Sunder and two of their friends Bharatpal and Rakesh, they said.
Subsequently, the brothers entered into an altercation following which Sunder attacked Pratap with a knife and two other friends Bharatpal and Rakesh also started to hit him with some hard object leading to Pratap's death, police said.
A case has been registered at Police Station Sadar Ballabgarh Faridabad under section 302 and 34 of IPC, police said.
"Preliminary investigation has indicated that Sunder is the main accused while the role of the other two accused is still to be investigated, said ASI Ram Mehar.
All three accused are on the run, he said, adding that, a manhunt is on to arrest them.
