Senior Congress leader Mohan Prakash today claimed that the blast in Madhya Pradesh's Jhabua district that left 89 people dead could be due to RDX or an even more powerful explosive.
"It cannot be believed that the blast was due to a cylinder explosion. It was an explosive more powerful than RDX as four houses with multiple floors were completely reduced to rubble.
"The explosion could be due to RDX or an even more powerful explosive," Prakash told PTI today.
He demanded that the National Investigation Agency (NIA) probe the case.
Yesterday, 89 people were killed and nearly 100 injured after a massive blast caused by mining explosives stored in a building ripped through a crowded area in Petlawad town in Jhabua district.
