Pran, 93, who passed away on July 12 due to prolonged illness, was known for portraying some of the most memorable characters in films like 'Zanjeer', 'Don' and 'Amar Akbar Anthony'.
The Colors' show, which is hosted by celebrity judges - Madhuri Dixit, Karan Johar and Remo - will see contestants and jury pay their respects to the acting legend.
Singer Shaan, currently among the top 10 contestants on the show, will sing Pran's evergreen track 'Yaari hai imaan mera' from the 1973 film "Zanjeer".
A picture collage of Pran was displayed on the LED screen with participants taking on the stage to sing the popular number.
Besides Shaan, others vying for the winner's title on the show are Karanvir Bohra, Drashti Dhami, Siddharth Shukla, Mukti Mohan, Sana Saeed, Karan Patel, Lauren Gottlieb, Sonali and Sumant.
The episode will be telecast on Saturday.
