A red carpet will reportedly be rolled out at the funeral of comedienne Joan Rivers.
The 81-year-old funnywoman died after she was removed from life support following a cardiac and respiratory arrest on August 28.
The rug, which Rivers' family and friends will walk upon outside Temple Emanu-El in the New York City on September 7, will then be buried with the star, reported Us magazine.
"A lot of celebrities confirmed. Only certain individuals will be allowed to roll it out," a source said.
The late 'Fashion Police' host wanted her funeral to be a grand affair, as evident from an excerpt from her 2012 book 'I Hate Everyone... Starting with Me'.
"When I die (and yes, Melissa, that day will come; and yes, Melissa, everything's in your name,) I want my funeral to be a huge showbiz affair with lights, cameras, action," she had written.
