The alleged master mind of the gang Rajender Kumar, 58, is a graduate of Sri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) and has 23 cases of cheating registered against him at various police stations in Delhi.
The First case against him was registered in year 1975 and that FIR was in Urdu language. Being fluent in English he used to interview the victims, police said.
The trio Rajender, Sumit Jha (29), and Dinesh Kumar (28), were arrested as they were trying to dupe five youngsters whom they had called for recruitment at State Bank of India and Postal department,said DCP New Delhi Vijay Singh.
After a prolonged interrogation police managed to recover 20 forged appointment letters of 12 different banks including SBI, Allahabad Bank, OBC, PNB, UBI, BoI and HDFC; and medical examination papers of victims.
Forged documents related to postal department have also been recovered along with computer and a printer used for preparing it.
