"A meeting of the Board of Directors of the company will be held on September 30, 2015, inter alia, to consider sale of wind power plants of the company having aggregate capacity of 49 MW," Jaiprakash Associates Ltd informed BSE today.
Jaiprakash Associates is the flagship company of the Jaypee group, which is a diversified infrastructure company with interests in engineering, construction, cement, power, real estate, expressways, fertiliser, hospitality, healthcare, sports, information technology and education.
Earlier another Group firm Jaiprakash Power Ventures had said that its shareholders have approved the sale of the company's entire stake held in its arm Himachal Baspa Power Company Limited (HBPCL) for about Rs 9,700 crore as per an agreement on November 15, 2014 with JSW Energy.
