"... Considering the unfavorable market conditions, the management of the company's material unlisted subsidiary, Jubilant Agri and Consumer Products have decided to temporarily discontinue the operations of its manufacturing facility... Engaged in production of single super phosphate with immediate effect...," Jubilant Industries said in a regulatory filing.
Last month, the Tata Chemicals had also decided to suspend production of soil nutrient DAP at its Haldia plant in West Bengal and would supply the fertiliser to customers from its inventory and imports.
