The university had on Wednesday announced its first cut- off. The applicants had to study the list, select course and college on the admission portal for an admission slip and approach respective colleges with the slip and required documents.
However, the website crashed yesterday morning rendering aspirants helpless. They rushed to colleges seeking alternative options but to no avail.
The second day, however, went smooth as applicants generated slips and reported to colleges without any problem.
This is for the first time that the university has introduced full-fledged onlineadmissionprocedure for UG admissions unlike previous years when it used to be both online and offline.
The university had received 2.5 lakh applications for the 54,000 seats in 63 colleges. In a major shift from previous years, no DU college has kept the ceiling at 100 per cent in the first cut-off list, however, the required percentage soared at almost all the colleges.
