Julianne Moore joins 'The Hunger Games'

Actress Julianne Moore has joined the all-star cast of "The Hunger Games" for the upcoming third and fourth installments of the film franchise.
The 52-year-old "The Hours" star will play President Alma Coin, the manipulative leader of the rebellion against the Capitol, alongside the movie's stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth, reported Dedaline.
Woody Harrelson, Stanley Tucci, Donald Sutherland and Philip Seymour Hoffman are also part of the action adventure series, which is based on the bestselling books by Suzanne Collins.
The casting confirmation comes three months after the "Game Change" actress was first linked to the role.
"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay" Parts 1 and 2 are due out in 2014 and 2015, respectively.
