After addressing the party meeting at the PCC office here, Kamat said that he has asked the state unit of the party to appoint district presidents on the vacant posts within 15 days and send the list of the appointees to the All India Congress Committee (AICC).
"Those office bearers who are not working properly needs to be changed and necessary directions for this were given to the state congress unit," he said.
The state Congress passed eight resolutions on issues of public interest in the meeting.
The resolutions are on issues like law and order, rising cases of atrocities against women and Dalits, inflation, unsatisfactory execution of MGNREGA, a PCC statement said.
