Former Haryana minister Gopal Kanda, accused in the air hostess suicide case, attended the monsoon session of Haryana Assembly here today after getting bail from a Delhi court.
Kanda arrived 33 minutes after the House met at 2 pm on the opening day of the session and passed obituary references.
Noisy scenes were witnessed between ruling Congress and opposition INLD members when Kanda, the former state Home minister, entered the House.
Sitting next to Savitri Jindal, Kanda witnessed the verbal spat between the ruling and opposition members.
As the exchanges continued, Speaker Kuldeep Sharma adjourned the House for fifteen minutes during which a number of ruling Congress members were seen greeting Kanda.
