The regional passport office has issued an advisory for aspiring Haj pilgrims asking them to have their passports made well in advance to avoid last minute hassles.
People who wish to go on Haj pilgrimage next year are advised to apply for their passports online as early as possible if they want to avoid last minute confusion and chaos, Regional Passport Officer Vijay Shankar Pandey said in the advisory issued yesterday.
Those who had their passports made well in advance last year had no trouble undertaking the journey, he said.
