Bollywood actors Katrina Kaif and Aditya Roy Kapoor, who were photographed filming a romantic scene on a makeshift bridge over the Dal Lake here, have completed their six-day shooting schedule for 'Fitoor' in Kashmir.
The leaked photographs, which went viral on Twitter, show Aditya and Katrina standing on the bridge as they share a kiss.
The actress, who was provided with a three-tier security for her stay here, and the film's crew arrived here on January 28. They had a two-day shoot inside the Nishat Bagh on the banks of Dal Lake on January 30 and 31, a security official said.
The garden, a popular tourist destination, was closed for visitors to allow the crew to shoot without disruptions.
"For the next two days (February 1 and 2), the film crew including Katrina were shooting inside the Dal Lake," the official said.
'Fitoor' is a modern adaptation of Charles Dickens' famous novel 'Great Expectations' whose story revolves around an orphan Pip, a wealthy spinster Miss Havisham and her adopted daughter Estella. The novels deals with Pip's romance and eventual heartbreak at the hands of Estella.
Katrina is reportedly playing a role inspired by Estella opposite Aditya's Pip while veteran star Rekha is the story's mysterious antagonist Miss Havisham.
Shooting of 'Fitoor' was done under a lot of security to avoid any law and order problem and also to keep the details of the movie under wraps.
The Valley has attracted many Bollywood producers in recent times but the crew of Shahid Kapoor-starrer 'Haider' faced some problems during their shooting in downtown city last year while protests were held against Sanjay Dutt-starrer 'Lamhaa' some years ago.
Recent Bollywood films to have Valley as their backdrop were 'Highway', 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani', 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan', and 'Rockstar'.
